Can some help me verify these woods.
Going to sell them but don't want to call them the wrong things.
1 thinks this is amboyna burl

I think you are correct on 1 and 2 (though I'd call it "box elder burl, with some flame")

3 looks very similar to a few pieces of manzanita burl I got from @rockb a while back but I'm not sure that's what they are.

First off .... are all three pictures showing the same species of wood ? . . Pretty nice looking pieces !

You could be right by guessing Amboyna .... but I would not bet on it.

The top pic could be Amboyna burl, although the "waviness" in the grain does not look quite right for Amboyna.

The middle pic ..... the pinkish, cloudy hues here do not look like Amboyna to me.

The bottom pic .... these pieces could be just about anything .... but not definitively Amboyna based on my experience.

Tell ya what ...... why don't you just gift them all to me and after I turn them I'll tell you, with better veracity, what I think !!! ..... LOL !!!

The middle certainly looks like Box Elder with the read streaking - aka Manitoba Maple. The top one could be anything. I think Amboyna burl has more of a pin-eye grain than the waviness that you see there. The bottom pick is another 'could be anything' burl. I think you're best to just call them burl wood, so you're not just randomly guessing.

Thanks, for the help. Trying to get tehm out of the shop since I have no plans on doing any casting in the near future.
I will list them as mystery woods.
