Guys I've got a few blanks I've had awhile and am almost sure they are spalted hackberry but I'm not 100%. Could someone post Couple of pictures of a blank.
Thanks.

I find it hard to distinguish between spalted hackberry and spalted hickory in photos. Although hickory is probably a little bit harder.

According to Hobbit House what I have is identical to what I have. I hadn't considered hickory as the blank was lighter than hickory.
I turned a piece round and from the smell it isn't maple for sure and I'm leaning toward hackberry. It's been my experience that hickory is harder than hackberry so I'm going with it.
Thanks for the help. I was always forget about hobbit house.
