Part B of a new endeavor has arrived! Those who attended the MPG this past weekend should recognize what it is! If you don't know, you are just going to have to wait a little while to find out!!! Trust me, it is cool!

Mine arrives today as well! Super excited to try using it. Looked amazing at MPG. Did you get a 12", 24", or 36"?
Just a 12" for now. If it does as I hope, I will get a longer one. During one of my conversations with Jason, he mentioned he is working on a larger diameter one so hopefully they will be available later this year.

Deer antler, 3 1/2" long, 500psi for 15 minutes. I think permeation is good but will go with 1000psi tomorrow. Hoping to see more permeation in the harder outer areas.

Sorry, didn't mean to leave most of ya hanging. I had learned of this process many years ago but cost of equipment for the "little guy" was prohibitive in my book but I kept on dreaming. Earlier this month, a "little guy" unit was released and demonstrated at the MPG this past weekend. Of course I had to have one. What I am beating around the bush about is a high pressure stabilizing system. This little unit can pressurize up to 1500psi. This means what took hours or days to stabilize can now be done in less than an hour. The compressor, which can push upwards of 4500psi is actually a very well priced unit, used by air gun aficionados around the world. The chamber has a blow-off safety of 1800psi and a 1500psi max is recommended by the manufacturer. I had to tighten one fitting that was pre-assembled but other than that, the process was quite boring. More info on the chamber can be found here . . . https://shopbvv.com/collections/woo...oducts/high-pressure-wood-stabilizing-chamber

This is the 12" tall chamber. There are also 24" and 36" tall chambers. I went with the 12" simply to experiment with. I think it fits in well in my dungeon, uh, I mean studio!! Lol!!
