Yes, besides the corn cob I helped Cody turn the other day, this is the first pen I have turned in about 1 month. Maybe even longer.

It aint anything special. Just a Polaris with spalted something. (ever here of that wood!) The ballpoint I think sticks too far out. Nothing was done to the tube or wood.

Also the photo aint that great because my digital decide to "Hit The Road" (literally). Dropped it out of the suburban. (kids, ya gotta lov'em.)

to fix this just sand the back of the ink a little bit. If you take the "nub" off the end of the plastic cap, up to the wider section, that should fix it.

John, I use that trick as well, and it is definitely a DAMHIKT trick! If you plan to sell the pen, an oops band is in order so that the customer doesn't have to sand the refill each time.
