They just called me Limited to ten students in the building at a time, must be fully vaccinated and boostered and masked. I am going in Monday to check on what we need....I donated all our masks and gloves to the employees who had to stay there at the beginning of the pandemic in order to organize the center for shutdown, so I know I need that. I'm sure a lot of the chemicals will have to be replaced after sitting for two years. Plus the center will now pay for all the kits they want to turn. (The students had to pay for the kits before.) So we will be fully funded by the Blind Center now.
Hi Sharon. I have not heard anything in close to 2 1/2 years from ANY chapter requesting materials. I received a box of predrilled and turned Olivewwod blanks from Robutacion, but after Covid hit and all the school closed, very few were sent out. So, here is what I have available, and am comfortable sending as much if not all to you.
Olivewood Blanks: Many will need to be re-drilled slightly as a few that I checked the wood has moved a bit.
Gatsby/Sierra - 80+/-
Slimline - 100+/- (Single, so 50 sets, or can be used for the others, keyrings, stylus, etc)
Keyring kits - 75
Letter openers - 70
Stylus Kits - 140.
Bushing Sets - 10 each of both Gatsby and Slimline.
I do not have any Gatsby/Sierra kits, or the Funline that were were used.
Truly, I don't expect any other school to get started up soon, so these are all yours.
