Wolverine skew jig

Does anyone use this? I think part of my problem with using the skew is I am not getting it sharp enough. Maybe I have messed up the bevel where it is incorrect. Either way I don't know, but I have tried everything including watching Ed's videos in the library and the Alan Lacer video. Still can seem to figure it out. So basically if I buy this will it help sharpen the skew correctly or am I just throwing away money? It's driving me crazy.

I found it really helped me. I was having trouble sharpening my skew. Not so much with the bevel but I seemed to be changing the angle of the skew. The jig makes it real easy. If you already own the wolverine system then the skew attachment is not that expensive an add-on and well worth it in my opinion.

The skew attachment makes sharpening a snap.

Also, to learn to use a skew, use a scrap piece of wood. And keep practicing.
