Hi,

Has anyone heard from or had contact with Wolfdancer (Rodney Rice) since September 2010? Ive been trying to contact him since August as that was my last contact with him.

I feel I've tried enough PMs and Emails before posting this, as I have a payed outstanding order from MAY 2010. I know there was problems with his PayPal, but I and many others who have commented to me have outstanding orders.

This isn't a witch-hunt, I'm just trying to get a completed order or some contact, I've had many fulfilled orders with Wolfdancer and the wood he supplies has always been exceptional as well as his service. But he seems to have just disappeared!

Any one with info or opinons please post here.

Yes, If anyone hears from him I to would like to know why he can't return any PM's as to where my order is or refund for the past 10 months.

He was last on line on December 16.

Yeh saw that. Not to answer his PMS or emails though!

Have contacted Paypal, and there not interested as the time has been too long apparently! But we will see!

Anyone else got anything?

Have you complained to the forum moderators? Perhaps if he were not allowed to do this all the time, he would stop taking peoples money then dissappearing for months at a time.
 
He is NOT being allowed to do this, George! Rodney's last post on IAP was July 8, 2010. He was infromaed back then that he needed to take care of his obligations before posting again. So please note the tone and dates of this particular thread. It is NOT talking about a current issue but rather trying to gain closure on an old one..
 
I haven't heard from Rod in a month. His domain names have expired and I believe that he has lost his internet access and the library that he uses cut him off due to too much use. If I hear from him, I will pass the info on.

Thanks for posting that, that would be a great help if you could pass on any information. Just trying to get a bit of closure on a rather elongated order experience, not just for me!

We did contact Rodney some months ago and purchase wood from him. We also paid freight for a bunch of his outstanding orders, that were filled at the time.

Our hope was we could market Rodney's wood (which everyone seems to agree is good) through Exotics.

It appears that Rodney might have been taking new orders from folks at that time, as well. We were unaware of that, but certainly would not have tried to control his actions, even if we could.

I communicated with Rodney through the IAP, PM system, same as everybody can. So no, we don't have any special information. And yes, we do have some nice wood that will be available on Exotics when Dawn finds time to take pictures and list it.

I think that PR Princess from Exotic Blanks has featured some of his blanks. Perhaps a PM to her will yield contact information.

I know some people are quite upset about losing out on what seems to be a bit of cash. I can understand and respect this, however why involve another vendor in trying to recoup your loss?

I am sure he is getting word through someone (NOT ME) that there are people who he still either owes money or blanks to. Hopefully if he can, he will make things right with people.
 
Dawn also just informed me that he is no longer living at the address we had, which is consistent with the last PM exchange I had with Rodney. He said he planned to move, as his living conditions were not very good.

It was not my intention to involve another vendor per se. I mentioned Dawn as a friend and IAP member who along with ED are quite involved with this site as members and are very helpfull on all occasions they get involved.

I personally have no outstanding orders with the individual in question. I just happened to remember that Exotic Blanks purchased wood from him. You can safely buy his wood from Ed and Dawn.

I understand Louis, however I think something that a PM may have been more appropriate rather than pointing a finger...even though your intentions are good.

Sorry if I sound rude, however I have been on Dawn's side where people lost money buying stuff and my store was contacted as we were a new vendor for a product. It sucks.

I hope everyone get their products or a refund.

Again sorry if my post sounded rude of inconsiderate.
