OK, forget the calendar...
We got almost a foot of snow over last night and today. Had to get out the snow shovels and blower. Sure makes everything look nicer with a blanket of white.
Anyone else having winter weather yet?

Isn't it always winter in Alaska? We have a couple feet of snow in the mountains, but nothing has stuck here so far...

Yep! Winter is here. Had to close one of the windows. Am hoping for a break in the weather so I can open it again. I might have frostbite, just don't know.

Winter

Yepper, winter is here, 98 degrees, wearing shorts and t-shirt with flip flops. Gotta love the winter months.

well we had some low uppers temps in the past 5 days. I think I could count all the snow flakes on one hand that I saw.
It is suppose to get a bit warmer here in Southern Michigan.

Was a beautiful day here today, balmy weather in the 70's with increasing winds in the afternoon. They are saying that it will rain tonight and tomorrow. Will have to wait and see.

The fall weather has hit my area. However my wife is in Canada working. SHe arrived last monday and where she is at it was -22C She is not having a lot of fun. SHe was in Inuvik for a couple of days. SHe is a long way from home.

Better there than here

Better a foot of snow in Alaska than here in Slower Lower Delaware...It's been in the 40's and that is more than cold enough. But I hope you had a nice summer....all three hours of it.

Yeah, was pretty nippy this weekend. Lucky for me I picked up a kerosene heater earlier in the week from Craig's List. I got to try it out early on Sunday. Works well. Glad it does so I can get these pens knocked out for an upcoming show. Of course just like other places the highs this week will be in the 60's, go figure lol.

We've been getting freezing temperatures in the mid 20's at night with beautiful crisp day time temperatures in the 50-60's here in the Missouri Ozarks...... But NO SNOW. I love it!

Wow, sounds like most of you are still having temps that we rarely have here..
Since we live on the coast, it isn't as cold as the rest of the state in the winter. It's also cooler in the summer, though. I don't think I've ever seen it go below -35 F here. (The Interior can get -60 or -70) I also haven't seen it get above 85 F in the summer.

Some of you are having heat I experienced for the first time when I went out to SD in August!!:biggrin:

Break out the snowboard! woo hoo excited about this winter!!! cant come soon enough :) il be off to Bansko, Bulgaria for this one for a touch of boarding in the mountains

Ick. Winter. I am already tired of being cold, and it has not gotten real cold yet. When we finally have a place of our own the first thing going in is radiant heat in the house AND the workshop.

I am waiting for the real snow to show up in that my burton wants to play

the weather these past months has been nuts. It was warm and cold warm and cold so all the leaves didn't drop like usual then we got hit with a single day of wet snow, enough to have to plow, which stuck to the leaves resulting in an enormous amount of damage across the state from broken tree branches and fallen trees all over the place. I lost power for a week. The side of the roads are still littered with broken branches everywhere

Now it's been so so chilly but not cold enough for more snow but enough for my resin to take to long to cure :). So let's get on with it and let the white stuff fly if the resin is slow to cure :)

We got snow here in southern Mid Michigan. Dog is quite apprehensive about it. This is our first real snow fall of the hear..we've had flakes before but now we have maybe 4 inches of snow on the ground with a layer of ice under it.
