The entrants made some fantastic pretty wood pens. I'm sure Lou Metcalf, who was the inspiration for the contest, would be proud.

Well done, Michael!

Congratulations Michael, Roy, and Phil. I, or the prize donors, will be in touch to make arrangements for distributing the prizes.

I thank Magicbob, robutacion, and penlover for graciously donating the prizes.

Thank you also to the entrants for submitting fantastic pens. I'd write a letter with each of them.

p.s. Hi CREID!

Congrats to the winners.

Anyway we can see the results over all?

Thanks.

EDIT: Just realized the results are actually on the voting page itself.

Thanks for the votes, guys and gals! Some stiff competition--all the pens look great. I knew that was a nice piece of wood, but it really exceeded my expectations.

For anyone interested, the pen is a gun metal Atrax and the finish is five coats of Mercury Flex thin CA, sanded laterally with 0000 steel wool, followed by Dr. Kirk's three step polish and a buffing with Tripoli and White Diamond.

Here's one more pic:

Rebecca's pen is #12. She was happy to participate and to have received some votes besides mine! :)

Thanks for hosting, Brian! And Congratulations to the winners!
