Thanks to those who voted for my pen and congratulations to Ben and Michael. I was very surprised to do well in this contest after seeing all the great work that was entered.

Hey Cody ... does that pen come with a disclaimer that reads, "No animals were harmed in the making of this pen". ?

:confused::rolleyes: Well, er, hmmm, er ....well there may be a few prehistoric sharks swimming around with sore jaws. Just a little payback for all of the shark attacks this summer.

Seriously? I don't see how you'ld fit a Megaladon tooth on a 5-inch long pencil .... and turning one from a tooth just wouldn't work without some serious stabilization efforts (they're hollow)....

Seriously. These are fossilized shark's teeth that possibly date back millions of years. Quite hard no stabilization needed and not hollow. I agree it may a little hard to get a megaladon tooth on a pen.

They also misspelled "melon" (lower right)

Congratulations to the casters for their entries. I like seeing what people attempt.

Ben's prize will ship tomorrow.
