Hello folks,

I know the bash is over and I am sorry for the slow response for posting the winners of the Almost Daily Puzzler Contest but here they are!

First, some statistics...


  • There were 48 members who signed up to access the puzzle through the start time form.
  • There was one disqualification due to cheating
  • There were only 6 people who completed the puzzle and entered their time
So, without further delay, here are the winners!

Wow. Couldn't manage to win anything in the bash this year, even when I had a fifty percent chance. That phone call I got while working on it really hurt my chances... Congratulations to the winners.

And you were super close. I believe there was only 6 minutes between you and The Penguin!

I think my clock is still running if no one shut it off!:eek: I got started and then got distracted. THen my computer crashed...... :mad: Now its to late.

I NEED to know the microsoft answer, and one other, but I left my paper copy at home. After starting three times and not getting to finish the puzzle, I gave up.

Aero was the name MS gave to the user "experience" on that wonderful operating system called ... Vista.

Great puzzle there Curtis. It was very Will Shortz worthy.

What that heck?? I just came home to a box in my chair full of sweet carbon coated goodness..

I had no clue until now! WOHO!

Dang I don't own any of these kits.. What a shame I'll have to order more.. lol.
