Windows phone question

I'm hoping that one of you younger hi tec guys can help me here please..:wink:

I have a Windows phone that connects via Bluetooth to my car.
It has a feature that can read out or even dictate text messages. It works just fine but my problem is I can't figure out how to raise the volume for when it reads out a message. I'm hoping to be able to raise and set it independently from the normal hands free calling volume. It really is too quiet.

Any ideas welcome...:biggrin:

My car does the same thing. The car radio itself controls the volume on mine. The rest is part of the car's on-screen controls which is just to the right of the steering wheel. Now if someone can show me how to turn on the radio, Ill be set.

Do you have 8.0 or 8.1? In 8.1, there is a volume overlay and there is a specific overlay for the Bluetooth. It allows the wireless devices to have a higher volume, while the other phone functions remain normal or to your custom settings.
