I keep getting email to updat info for windows live team hotmail account. Wants a bunch of info including password. Looks very official. I refuse and keep deleting it, gotta be a scam I'm sure.

Try going windows live and see if they have a way of handling spoof emails - you might be able to forward the fakes to them and get them shut down.

yea no real company will request your password via email. If it is legin then when you log into Live you would get propted for the info. 100% SCAM. Great catch.

I don't really know how you report this stuff. I clicked on phishing scam and sent it there. Maybe that will put it in a place where the hotmail people will look at it. I can clearly see if i click on view sender, it's not sent by microsoft, it is sent by someone with a hotmail account.
