Winchester .270 Bolt Action. Used a brass casing with a Berger VLD Hunting 130 Gr. Projectile machined to accept a modified Cross refill. Used a PSI bolt I threaded to casing head to allow access to change the refill.

Hi Les,

What threads did you use for connecting the Bolt Action top to the cartridge bottom ?

And did you have to add any metal to the "stub" of the Bolt Action top ? . Or did you just thread the "stub" as it is ?

Did the clip have to be removed, in order to avoid interference while doing the threading ?
