Finished with 10 coats of Thin CA using my Dipping method.

Very nice pen!
I am also curious about your CA "dipping method." Is that something you have discussed in a previous thread, or is it your own trade secret?

Magnificent Pen, Les,
Glorious piece of Walnut Gun Stock.
Expertly Fitted and Finished, appropriately enough, on a Lever Action Pen.
Outstanding .

That is a really nice piece of Walnut, and the pen looks great. I've found that a Tru-Oil finish, like what one might do on a "real" rifle stocks comes out looking pretty good as well, if one wants more of a traditional finish on a rifle-style pen.

Michael

Les are you doing the "your dipping method" and no polishing.???
What is the time between coats.???
I bet you are getting a whole lot more on per coat than I am wiping 10 coats on.

Lin,

So far no sanding or polishing required as nothing touches the blank except the Thin CA.
20-30 seconds between coats.
