So, my 15yo grandson's school posted they had a woodturning club and were open for new kids. Nearly 100 kids showed up for only 4 openings. He did not get selected.
I am wondering if there are any woodturning clubs or groups in the area?

sounds like the future of turners is doing fine. Now if the schools can find a way to get them all into the classes.......life would be better.

Hope that someone in the area can help and that the parents/school will step up to the demand for classes. It would be a terrible shame if these kids can't get into the hobby because of lack of fund/equipment/teachers.
