Has William Wood-Write stopped dealing with U.S. customers because of tariffs?
I received an email about some pen boxes being back in stock.
Tried to place an order and couldn't find the U.S. on their shipping menu.

Not speaking on behalf of William Wood-Write, but as an owner of another business (Yarn Shop), with an online presence, the changes to the tariffs and more specifically, the de minimis being suspended, it's more challenging for us in Canada to ship to the US. Not that we don't want to, just difficult to calculate the Tariffs. Right now, it's pretty much a straight 10%, but the eComerce Sites aren't great to work with to calculate this at time of purchase.
Using Square, i've got our businesses site setup, to apply the 5% GST and then the 10% US Duty (but done in one step, applying 15.5% to cover both). It's a right mess on the book keeping side and accounting... to ensure we pull off enough cash to pay the taxes and duties.

We are giving it a try, as we miss our American customers greatly. Just wish that the political figures on both sides of the border would play nice. Pretty sure it's not hurting them all that much, but anyone on either side of the border with their own small business are likely being hurt by all this.

Thanks for the reply Scott.

They are still shipping to the US. Because of the imposed tariffs, and the requirement for pre paying them, it gets complicated. Canada post only deals with one company to prepay, and they do not readily integrate into websites. I know I have a similar problem with mine.
Just send them an email with what you want, and they will do the calculations by hand.
They have it in their shipping info.
