One of our colleges is putting up an auction for this item and may come pretty cheap:

BALDOR INDUSTRIAL MOTOR (MODEL: M2559T-4)
HP 125 [:0]
VOLTS 460
AMPS 137
PHASE 3
RPM 760
HZ 60

What can it be used for? Hmmmmmm maybe to upgrade a mini lathe??? [}:)][}:)][}:)] LOL

Kidding aside, I might be able to buy this for less than $50.00 if there can be a good use for it...short of making my own elevator and if I can re-wire for 3 phase LOL.

Yea, that will be a really good grinder motor![:D] Just get some 1/2" plate for a base and stand and some 3" OD x 1/4" wall tube to make 4 legs, rewire your house for 460V 3 phase and you'll be set![:p] Just don't ever move from that house.[;)]

Careful here guys....if you start that motor with out a slow start or without that thing cemented to the foundation, it will roll itself right over on start up!![:0]

Dario, there is more than $50 bucks in recycle copper in that thing, so it is definitely worth it!
