Living in a rural area we see a lot of wildlife. Deer, Eagles, Hawks, Quail and a multitude of smaller birds.
Yesterday I took this pic of a bald Eagle from my front porch.
A few days ago I was in the kitchen and looked out the window just as a Great Blue Heron landed on the front lawn not more than 15' from the house. He stood there for a couple minutes before taking off and I have never seen such a magnificent sight, looked like he had the wingspan of a 747.
