Maple and epoxy inlay wig stand I made for patients going through cancer treatment and wear a wig. I used the dimensions that I down loaded from Atlantic Shores Woodturners we page.

Hi Bobby! All of us at Atlantic Shore Woodturners appreciate anyone who can take the time and turn a wig stand for cancer patients. We got this idea through a few members comments on the challenges of cancer care and the impact on people's lives. One of the items most requested was a safe and clean storage place for their wigs - hence the wig stand project! So far, our club, including Bobby, has produced about 30 wig stands with the hope that by talking it up, many more will be inspired to turn one too. Most hospitals and cancer care facilities welcome the contributions or maybe give it to someone who holds a special place in your heart during their time of need.

Another wig stand completed, also made with Maple, but this one painted black and highlighted with iridescent paint.
