Wife's 1 piece!

So now that we have the big lathe fixed my wife decided to make a 1 piece slimline using an 8" piece of cherry wood and a satin slimline kit. She did such a great job on this and didn't even have to ask me for help. She drilled the hole just long enough to get both tubes in there. She does some good work!

She is not a fan, but she was going for that design. She just thinks its cool, like the ones she used to get at the Columbus Clippers games.

I like how the finish one the wood blend with the pen kit finish. The baseball shape bat is exactly what it should be, great!

Good looking pen. My wife turns as well, purfume bottles and wine stoppers. I had to buy a second lathe, which was good we now spend more time together.
