I took this pic yesterday at a show we where are. The deer on the far left scored 175 Boone & Crocket.
Later today I will post a pic of the Deer Pen.

basically one of two(two right") standard methods of recording the size of a deers rack. the other is pope and young.

The system kind of standardizes the bragging rights of hunting, when the deer was killed before standards it was a 8 point by the end of the year of telling your coworkers it was a 12 point non typical. That system is just a official method for keeping records.

Deer end up in our freezer not hanging on the wall around our house. But everyone is right---it's a Scoring system that Trophy Deer Hunters use. That Deer was shot in 2004 in Casey Co Ky---all the info is recorded.

Oh ----go check out part two over at SOYP----I think it came out very cool.

I don't hunt deer but I do get some from friends that do. I figure as long as it is food and not just a trophy there is no problem with it. I'm hoping this fall they get a few so my freezer can be filled again.....LOL
I am also a catch and release fisherman since I don't like fish.
