I had to go to the Everglades to look at a job we are bidding on. While taking pictures of a culvert that has to be replaced, I got a glimpse of its current tennant. Nice.

He's just a baby-----

No kidding, thank God for babies. I have seen a local a picture of a gator crossing the road. From snout to tip of the tail it covered the width of the road (22' long). The funny part is that the picture shows a policeman stopping the traffic to let the gator cross.

Gator is one of my favorite things to eat. I like to grill it and make a sandwich out of it. While down in LA. this past April, I ate it 3 times a day.

They serve it downhere at some restaurants. My kids love it. My three year old standard question to everything is "can I have some more chicken please"? How can you say no to that? Now I have to show him where his chicken come from....

Having suffered big time from a recluse bite to my left eye some 35 years ago I believe I would rather deal with the gator if I had to do it all over again.

Cris, you can get out of this one really easy ... just tell your client that you can't find that particular culvert. Ask them to come jump in the water and point it out to you and the crew (while you guys sit in the coolness of the AC in the truck!).
