My mate George from S. Aust. sold me this blank because he reckoned it needed someone who enjoyed a challenge.. He wasn't wrong.:confused:
Luckily I had my hose clamp around the blank because it wasn't long before it became 2 pieces. After many repairs, Epoxy and coffee grounds, I finally got it finished.
The bowl measures 9.5in x 3in and is finished with a spray on marine poly.
I love the colours.
C & C welcome.

Bob.

Well, I seemed to have picked the right "fellow" to handle this fragile blank.

Was never any doubt of the extra care and work it would require but, how often you see a piece of Australia White Wattle of such size and character...??? Precisely my point...!:biggrin:

Great job Bob, great job...!

Cheers
George

Thanks guys, the finished piece is not quite as good as I hoped but you get that sometimes. It would be a very dull and boring world if everything worked perfectly every time.
