White abalone Emperor

Hi folks-

Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good! My BASH entries were my ticket on the Loser's Train until I checked the donation drawing and found I had won Ron Robbins' generous donation of abalone blanks. The white abalone blanks were cast for an Emperor kit which I ordered from Exotic - crimped the budget a bit but I wanted to give it a try. These blanks were easy to turn and are beautiful. A simple micro mesh, buff and Renaissance wax finish. Not the best photographer but I hope you like!

That's an understatement Ron. I feel really fortunate to have won them! I was pretty jacked when I made that final pass and measured the fit. The kit was easier to assemble than I expected, too.
