Well I finally was able to get away for a few days. The wife and I Left Wednesday afternoon, drove to Fort Knox KY to see my nephew graduate basic training. What an experience, amazing ceremony. Left Ky and drove to Pigeon Forge TN. Spent Thursday and Friday night at the Christmas Inn. First off let me say the rooms and service was Top of the line superb. However.........they play Christmas music 24-7, Santa sings in the lobby every night, But they did serve cookies and milk. The Titanic museum was awesome and I recommend it to anyone who goes there. Spent Saturday at Harrah's Casino watching my wife make a fool of herself trying to play poker. Paula Deans restaurant SUCKS, Worst food on the whole trip. All in all a great get away, and a great 24th anniversary. Now I just need a vacation to rest.

Glad you had a good time here in beautiful East Tennessee. Pigeon Forge is a fun place. We haven't done the Titanic exhibit yet but have heard nothing but good things about it.

And I was down in your direction... the week before... we drove my step son down to Atlanta to pick up his new truck... got home just before all the tornadoes hit last week... watching the black clouds all the way back....

Haven't been over to PF in over a year... need to get back up that way again sometime soon... if the price of gasoline comes down.

Thanks alot!! Now the LOML wants to go to "Christmas Inn", she starts Christmas music November 1st, ans she would continue year around if it were not for those around her at work would not appreciate it. At least you had a good time, that is what counts.

Chuck Gas was Cheaper on the strip in Pigeon Forge than anywhere else on my trip. $3.64. After what I spent on gas in my 2500HD, there won't be any other trips for a while!!!
