I have a Nova chuck that I got a few years ago for my 3/4" 16 TPI mini lathe. Now I have 1" 8 TPI and am not sure what adapter I need to get. Can anybody point me in the right direction?

Got the adapter today...it does not fit 
I couldn't figure out how, by looking at the pictures on Amazon, that was going to work and apparently the answer is because it won't lol.
So, a 3/4 16tpi chuck going onto a 1" 8tpi headstock. Any other suggestions?

You could use this;
1" x 8 tpi Headstock Spindle Adapter at Penn State Industries
but won't the adaptor come out of your chuck and let you use the adaptor you got from Amazon?

John that new adapter should work, did you remove the old one? Your other option is to purchase the 1"x8tpi to 3/4"x16tpi adapter, that's if your spindle is 1" and the chuck is 3/4". I have a set-up like this and it works fine.
