If you are talking about worthless wood, then there are several vendors offering these. Some are on this site in the business classifieds and it seems that some of the really big vendors are also offering them.
As a note, I did not name anyone specifically so that I upset anyone that I forgot that makes these. If you would like specifics, send me a PM. I have tried a handful of vendors that offer these.

MesquiteMan sells from his website and through Exotics
Ankrom Exotics makes a similar product
and, I believe, ElMostro makes a similar product and sells it to several resellers.
Apart from members here, WoodCraft is selling their version, CSUSA has a version, etc.

The products sold by some of the members here, like Curtis and Ed, are usually superior to the "big guys" with the catalogs! Customer service is even better!
Take a look at what Curtis has listed and you will be able to see the actual blank you can order. That is priceless in my mind.

plus 1 on what Lenny said. I have bought from Ed, Curtis and ElMostro and have yet to be disappointed in anything except my turning skills.
