I haven't had much spare time to visit my old friends on the IAP but in certain posts, I'm seeing a lot of venom.
IMHO, pride is an evil thing as expressed when written.
A number of the posts I'm referencing seem like pride run out of control.
Or someone who feels insulted and wants to get even.
Here are a couple of rules I've had to teach myself which others may find useful:
It takes a little more time to re-read what you've written than to simply click "Submit Post" or "Submit New Thread" but it saves a lot of aggravation for yourself and many others.
It's not worth getting into a ****ing match with anyone on the internet; they may be better at trolling than you.
No one wins when folks argue over nothing. :biggrin:
It's very difficult to completely explain what it is you're trying to communicate with the written word to a whole bunch of people without your background. Likewise, for the reader.
Therefore, don't presume the meaning you intend or interpret is correct. Seek further explanation and clarification.
