what refill is what?

I know this has to be one of the dumbest questions ever listed... but i just gotta ask. There seems to be a write up with pics on about every subject under the sun, but i still do not know what refill is what...

There is the cross refill, the parker, the schmidt, the twist, etc. etc. etc. I just want ot know what to tell people that their new pen takes. is there a pciture library of refills? If not who is gonna make one? :biggrin:

basic rule,

Slimlines and 7mm euros use Cross Refills (long straight with a plastic top that screws into the tranny) http://www.coloradopen.com/category/Cross_Ballpoint_Pen_Refills

Cigars, EBs, Sierras use Parker style refills (look like a missile) http://www.coloradopen.com/category/Parker_Ballpoint_Pen_Refills

Rollerballs take the Schmidt style Rollerball refill http://www.coloradopen.com/category/Schmidt_Rollerball_Refills

Any others just ask. You cna see the differences if you google "Colorado Pen Refills", but there are a lot more than what our Component pens take.

In its simplest terms, as stated above:
Cross (Plastic threaded thingy on top, no springs needed)
Parker ("Sawtooth" top, spring on end)
Rollerball (Flat top, spring on back end, buried in pen components)
Fountain. (Sharp, pointy thing on the end with a cut down the middle---called a "nib" if you want to get "techky")

Yes, you CAN make our pens use other refills, but these are the "off the shelf" choices
