Bloodwood, but you aren't going to get much certainty of the ID with the one photo. If you have any more of it, an endgrain photo might help. Also, relative hardness and weight (bloodwood is harder than most domestic woods, for example), source (was it in a pile of common exotics, or locally cut, etc), any odor when turning, was the raw blank much darker on the outside?

I agree it looks more like Bloodwood.
