Well it is summer time, and the call of the wild hits...

What has been keeping you out of the shop. Lets hear about something other than this Heat!

My little girl and I out on the boat. She even know which side to hike to.:D

That is just mean. Here I have been stuck indoors doing honey-dos and you are out on the lake w/ your dog? I think it has been since Feb or March since I have had time to turn anything. Have done some trim cutting in the remodelling process. Vacation coming up at the end of July, headed toward the ocean.
 
Lake!?!?! No Pastor, that's at least the bay, if not the ocean. John is just a stone's throw from some beautiful water, as you can see!

What keeps me out of the shop? Work, a baby, rain, heat...basically, life! [:D]

John, I hope all your days are filled with calm waters and a comfortable breeze at your back!

I am really jealous now, seeing that sailboat. Work definitely keeps me out of the shop. Fly fishing can too, but that's a choice.

Where did you get all that sunshine John..although I do think there was some strange bright orb in the sky for a short while today that I was unfamiliar with [8D][:)]

The wife loves to ride so we have taken a ride one day each weekend for the last 5 weeks sice we bought it. [:D]
 
Uuuhhhh... nothing? Oh yeah, that's one of the many perks of being a former DINK, now a SINK! There's very little, except lack of wanting to do it, that gets inbetween me and my shop! [:D]

Shop has A/C but have to train LOML to turn it on a few hours before I get home,or install a timer
 
Taking care of my mothers affairs as her health fails.
Artistic block.
60 hour/week job.
Playing Santa.
Checking out restaurants.
QA for Capt. Morgan---volunteer basis.
 
What keeps me out of the shop?
(1) wasp nest above door.
(2) mom
(3) fear of rattlesnakes
(4) heat
(5) working for my dad
(6) school
(7) hunting
(8) working for lots of other ppl
(9) IAP
(10) ebay

I could go on but I think you get the point.
 
We actually go to the shop to escape the heat so that is not an excuse.
but having to actually buid the shop is one fo mine, next woudld be working, and lastly is that i'm just plain old to tired right now to turn anything. that will pass and when the bug bites again I will be able to actually accomplish more with my time. it helps when I don't have to drive for nearly a half hour just to get to my shop.
 
What keeps me out? Well, LIFE!!! Between the job, honey-do's, and trying to chase down my 2 year-old, it's a never ending battle. Now that I've been to the AAW Symposium, I'm a bit more fired up to head back out to the shop, fortunatly I have A/C out there so I can at least have bearable temps while working.
