Looking a getting a Nova G3 reversible chuck for my Delta 46-460. What I need to know are what jaws should I be looking at. I plan to use the chuck for pens and pepper grinders.

Thank for the info

I got the nova g3 promotional package from Wood craft, it came with 4 jaws, 50mm, 35mm, pin, and mini cole jaws. its a fairly versitle kit IMHO but ive only done pens and bowls so far.
It was $300, but sometimes goes on sale for $179.

The G3 should come with the 50mm jaws and the pin jaws work quite well on pepper mills.

The G-3's do go on sale at Woodcraft a couple times a year. They do come with a 50mm set of jaws and a worm screw. Buy one now if you can find one on sale or do a google search for rebuilt ones. Then next time they go on sale with one of the jaw sets you buy that too. I use my extra chuck for the cole jaws.

Here is the link for Teknatool and the rebuilt chucks are $89.00

I have the same lathe, and bought the same Nova promotional set from Woodcraft. So far I've only used the pin jaws, but I like having them just in case I figure out how to use them! ;)

The 35mm pin jaws are on my G3 chuck virtually full time, can't remember the last time I took them off.

Ideal for drilling pen blanks and doing custom finials etc.

I even use this chuck and jaws on my metal lathe when I need to grip square blanks etc, just grip it in my 3 jaw chuck, works a treat.
