Too much yard work for one thing. Dethatching, and overseeding on clay is not what I call fun. The dethatching could have been done six more times, but time didn't permit. I needed to get the seed down, and watered twice a day for two weeks. I can't wait to see that bill!

So, after selling all the woodturning gear, and investing in a used Ortur Laser Master III engraver, I elected to insulate the floor in the shed. I know...I was told to do that when I built it, but didn't. I bought some double backed foil insulation, and installed it. I fired up the diesel heater yesterday morning, and it works great. So about the laser. I have a daughter 39 and still single, and she has acquired her own house. She's very smart, and artistic. I asked her if she would be interested in doing some laser engraving, and her face lit up, and she replied "Oh Yes"! I've decided to gift her the entire outfit. I'll have to help her set it up, and configure a way to vent the exhaust out of a window, or maybe tap into a drier vent.

Back to the shed. This will free up more space for my entertainment 😁 At this point in this boring post, I wanted to recommend this 3 DVD set from David Gilmour's latest concert at the Circus Maximus in Rome, which I happened to have visited way back in 1968 while serving my country in the Navy.

I had a date with my eldest granddaughter on Sept. 17th to see this concert movie at the IMAX theater. She loved it, and indicated that her future husband has to play guitar. The best part for me, was having two and a half hours sitting next to my granddaughter.

I Highly recommend this album for around $28 on amazon. It has two concert dvd's and a bonus disc, A small book of photos is included. If you're a Gilmour fan or just someone who likes his kind of music, this ones for you. I'll be watching this in my shed over, and over!

I just thought I would throw this out for your information. Hopefully, I'll have more interesting posts in the future. Thanks to all my friends here on IAP for all the help over the years. Eighteen of them on Jan.2,2026 Unbelievable!

Great to spend time with the kids and grandkids. Have two kids, nine grandkids and one great-grandson. Santa sends me Thank You notes every January.
So true John. I have two daughters, one son, five granddaughters and 22 great grandkids, and one on the way. My youngest daughter has no interest in producing children. Which is alright with me.

David Gilmour's album "Luck and Strange" is phenomenal. His daughter Romany joins him on some of the tracks. Thank you for the recommendation, I keep meaning to order my copy of the Circus Maximus performance.

I saw Pink Floyd live during their US tour in 1988. Without a doubt, in my top 2 two concerts ever.

If David Gilmour tours in the US again, I WILL go see him live!

Yes, Romany is involved in an awesome rendition of Great Gig In The Sky in this one. I was really impressed. I was at the Pink Floyd concert in 88 as well here in Indy. A guy jumped off the balcony, before the show even started. They said he thought he could fly.

Get your order in David! You won't regret it.
