What component set?

At a show yesterday a customer showed me a pen she said she had purchased in New York and it was supposedly a hand crafted pen.
It has a push button on one end and a "chuck" (for lack of a better term) on the other end.
It takes either a ink refill or a lead refill.

Anyone identify the component set?
