I'm spending the 4th with my family, especially my two best friends (daughters) . Friday is family bowling night. We have not bowled for 40 years. don't know how that's gonna go. I remember a little about bowling for dollars on TV. Hope I remember everything I learned on that show. Saturday evening is Beer Brats and watching fireworks.

We (the family) will be on vacation in No. Dakota for 2 weeks.

Sour Mash, sleeping in, county fair, fishing, sleeping in, no phone, no TV, reading, etc.

Hopefully, no rain, comfrotable temps, stary nights with the wife, campfire cooking, and lots of wildlife to watch.

ND, my home. 55 miles South of Jamestown. Wish I were there.

My daughter and son-in-law are coming down for a few days. Hopefully cool enough in the garage to turn a pen or three. I think there are plans to watch fireworks at a local sports park.

Bar B Que at Brother in Law then home by fireworks time to get dog and cats in we have idiots around here who use illegal firework and guns to celebrate I will probably be out with our Neighborhood watch doing patrols. Got 10 of the idiots last year, Some of them with illegas have been shoothing them this past week so we have them located and the PD know who and where they are Undercover will be out. We don't do any thing but report where they are, don't stop don't confront and change cars frequently. Last yer we had rental. The fire danger is just great around here with all the dry grass due to drought and bullets that go up come down with almost as much power as going up.

Visiting with my Sister-In-law and Brother-In-law in Brighton Michigan. House on a lake, very relaxing, both are excellent gourmet cooks, and he home brews beer... They have a nice craft show (I think in Ann Arbor). Went there last year to look for some pens :)!

I will be on a 115 ft schooner sailing the coast of Maine. with my sweet heart. Tomorrow we fly to Maine So I'll be totally out of touch because i'm leaving my iPhone home. This is a vacation from everything.

Bill, welcome to Maine! Have fun, the coast is a blast (not that inland is isn't great as well).

Regards,
Michael

We're hoping to be invited to spend the Fourth with our friends who have a camp on Belgrade Lakes (and a big pontoon boat). We had a blast last year, cruising the lake watching folks set off their fireworks. We were out past midnight and it was just awesome weather.

If that doesn't work out, I'll probably spend the day in the shop.

Regards,
Michael

Monango? I didn't think anyone "lived" there.
The Stutman County Fair is where we are going. July 1-4
Jamestown is one of the places I enjoy about No.Dakota.
Big enough that there are somethings to do.......Small enough that you can find quiet very close by.

Kulm was my home. Fishermen from MN go there to fish. MN has lakes. ND has fish. I do miss Leech and big Winnie.

Enjoy your vacation.

Plan is to daughter, son-n-law and 4 year old GRAND DAUGHTER over and just lay around the pool, eat burgers and dogs. Maybe after dark shoot some fireworks. But mainly just relax!

We will have been in our house for four years on July 2nd. The reason that I remember this date is because that is they day (in 2011) that we received the keys to our new home. On July 4th of that year, we had a party at our house with about 30 people. That's right. We were completely unpacked and moved in to our home in less than two days. How's that for motivation?

Having our yearly party again this year. Swimming, BBQ, games and fireworks will be had by all.

I wonder how many brown lawns will be black by Sunday morning. Stupid drought.

We'll be spending 4 days relaxing & chillin' in our 5th Wheel at our pecan farm in Columbus, TX. The only things I have planned are mowing the orchard, some road work, some brush clearing, building a deck, cleaning up the flood debris left by the river a few weeks ago, picking wild grapes so my wife can make jelly, and slicing up some pecan logs looking for spalt. Somewhere in there will be some grillin' and a bottle or two of Lone Star.
