My neighbor owned a custom closet company and recently sold it for a gazillion dollars. He signed a "no compete" clause, so he can't work.
The economy claimed my real job as a general sales manager several months ago. While I have been without work, I have been teaching my neighbor to make pens.
A few days ago, he came by and wanted to look at my scrap pile. Since I have been making pens, a little luthier work and repairing furniture, my shop had gotten really messy.
He took my scraps and made me a shop table. He delivered it unfinished and without drawer fronts. It looked so good, that I had to paint it and put a "CA" finish on the top to preserve it.
As you say, no pictures...didn't happen. Here is my shop table made completely from scraps....PRICELESS!
It has six 24" deep drawers on the front side and shelving on the back side, and wheels, so I can put a car in the shop just by moing it forward. What a GREAT NEIGHBOR!
