I'll add a few pictures tomorrow.

Mike: Thanks for hosting, and the demo on the X Carve - very cool!
Ernie: Awesome watch blank demo and companionship (but you do snore a bit).
Chuck: A great Kitless demo with a short list plan - very cool.

Pens are very fun, pen projects with a challenge are better. Projects that need collaboration with friends are the best.

Friends will outlive our projects. In the end, we will have both friends and projects, sometimes together, sometimes separate. Personally, I'll choose friends!

Everyone can choose.

Great weekend buddies! I made nothing, and had a great time with friends.

It was a good day. Thanks to Chuck, Mark, Mike, Mike, Dan, Ronnie, Ernie for coming to the meeting. Missed those who couldn’t make it.

We continue to see new faces and be an informal chapter following a loose plan and sharing great information, techniques and stories.

I appreciate every one of you.

Hi Steven, The shop was in Indiana at Mike Drake's (MRDucks2). He is exploring the X Carve System and did a nice demo. (I hope he corrects any of my comments). He has a bunch of potential projects, so this was a "hopefully I can do" type demo.

Healthy food? Nowhere to be seen.
Drink? If you look at the earlier pickies you may notice that the bottle of Johnny Drum (Bourbon) was still unopened. It did get opened after a monumental effort from Chuck (fiesty waxed top), but to be brutally honest, at the end of the evening there were only 3 shots missing from the bottle. Needing to drive to a hotel and silly things like responsibility and health precluded more imbibing. But, we had a great time nontheless (Ernie still snores, slightly less than my wife!!! He's been a guest at our house, so I have been able to compare the level of snoring).

It was a great weekend for me. I'm home for 3 days before going back to my in-laws on Wednesday. Still working out trying to get to the Ohio Chapter Meeting this Saturday; its one I don't want to miss. Just more miles on the Subaru.
