Tell me about it... what happened to the 4 seasons. We had maybe 2 days in the 50s then right into snow.

Oh we definitely cannot complain about the weather in Michigan this fall. It's been unseasonably warm. My grass is still green!
To be honest I'm glad it there and not here. As far as temperatures go here it hasn't been too bad. Hopefully the winter will be just as forgiving. Ha Ha.

We are in the high 70s to low 80s here in Phoenix for the next ten days or so. Pretty much normal November weather for us. I've lived here for 58 years and lowest I've ever seen was 14 degrees one February morning. We usually get maybe one freeze a winter, seldom below 30 degrees. Remembering February is what keeps us here in August!

Phoenix is too big of a town for me... I used to refer to it as Houston in the Desert... but I loved Tucson the year we lived there and would have stayed, except was offered a job back in Houston I couldn't turn down. I enjoy the hot weather, but don't do cold well.

I joke about the cold, but it doesn't really bother me, lived in Michigan my entire life. In the winter, life has a way of slowing down, seems less hectic.

I grew up in Kansas, Wyoming, Colorado, North Dakota....My dad was an oilfield mechanic. I got my fill of snow! We moved to CA my senior year in high school, and my dad was head mechanic for the Cudahy Bar S truck fleet. Then I went into the Army and we spent a winter in upstate NY at West Point where my husband was a librarian at the military academy. When we got out of the service we moved to Phoenix and I've been here ever since...so I haven't lived in snow since I was 20. Don't miss it a bit!

That's all true. 4 inches expected today. I'm sitting in my living room with a cup of coffee, Zoey sleeping on my lap, watching it snow. A very peaceful day, just how I like them.

Needs a ginger snap or two adding to that picture or even better a slice of home made battenburg cake for true contentment IMHO
