Hi,

Didn't want to double post, but thought it best to post the pen boxes I have made for a friends wedding seperate to the pens.

My wife came up with the idea of having two boxes that pair together. Perhaps it has been done before, but I thought the idea was pretty cool, and maybe something others could use.

Boxes are made out of Spalted sycamore. Finished with Danish oil and beeswax.

Most of the work was done on a bandsaw and router.

Ok, now that I know you did the boxes too, (which look even better in these pics,) you HAVE to get them engraved.[}:)] Really nice work Kenny.[:D]

Thanks everyone. Feel free to plagiarize the idea.[;)]

Mark - That is a very synical view of marriage![:0] But in light of the short time that marriages tend to last nowadays, I am going to engrave the boxes with From - To date spaces.[}:)][:o)][;)]

What a Great Idea! Your wife's a pretty creative woman! [:D]
And you did a beautiful job on the boxes, too. Very nice.
