Wedding pen options

A friend of mine just got married and although I am late I would like to make a wedding pen set. Obviously I am looking for white. My question is what are my options for a white blank. I know I can get a white acrylic I'm just looking for turners opinions. Don't worry this will not affect you final mark and it won't be in the exam.

You can get REALLY white holly

I'm bit sure how common it is in general, but lazerlinez.com has stabilized holly reasonably priced.

I went with the white Tru-stone with gold inlay form exoticblanks.com

I liked it better then plain white.

you could get one of us to cast you a white blank with some shimmer etc. ive done some wedding pens that way and they look great/

I have used Onyx and Corian (bathroom sinks) with good luck.Turns well and finishes to a high sheen with micro mesh.

This blank came from Exotic Blanks and is called Wedding White. Had Kallenshaan Woods engrave the box and Woodturningz do the pen. Hope this helps,

Not sure what happened on my earlier post I used White TruStone and Black TruStone - those auto-fillers drive me crazy some times!

Thanks everyone. I have some white acrylic acetate blanks on order and should be here tomorrow. I will be sure to post some pictures when and if I get around to turning them.
