I'm looking at creating a web site. I've been selling pens for about 2 years and people keep asking do you have anything online to look at. So, I guess now is the time. I'm looking for some help at selecting a provider. I assume that there are providers that offer some sort of canned software that you can customize. I'm sure that some are better that others. Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Bill Thompson

I have found it takes a good deal of time to research your options, determine what you need/want from a site, and then just jump in and start.

To get a feel for what it's like to develop your own site and see if it's what you want to do, try a free Google site and play around to see if you really want to start down the road.....

Good luck.

I have my own website through Yahoo Sitebuilder... it's pretty inexpensive and really simple to set up, but if you don't want to go through all the trouble of doing a website, why not try ETSY... it's free, you can set up your own store front and it only costs $0.20 per listing. Each listing is good for 4 months and then just renew... for about $5 every four months you can list 25 pens.

I have a friend that does art work and lists on ETSY... she says she does very well there... I have about 30 items listed there in addition to my website.
