Weathered Whiskey Barrel

This pen is from an old whiskey barrel. I'm not sure how old. I've had it for about 20+ years. I had used it as a bar table for a while, but it's been weathering outside for, at least, the last 15 years.



It was starting to come apart, so I decided to give it a little help and then, well, what are you going to do with wood that looks like it might be "interesting"?
