Found this while on vacation in Snohomish Wa not a top end pen but it has some beauty to the material. Nib is in good shape and there is still a bladder how good it is I do not know and honestly do not want to take a chance. BTDT and not a pretty site lol.

It is a similar material to a Sheaffer I bought earlier in the year. At some point I'll send it off to someone to be refurbished. It needs a little nib work and I don't trust the bladder either. Be nice to find more of this material and I doubt anyone is going to make it now.

I have that same pen. Definitely not wood. I refurbed mine, new sac, new lever spring. I'd definitely put a new bladder in, it is easy to do. Collecting and refurbing old fountain pens was what got me into this pen making thing in the first place. If you have an ultrasonic leaner, drop the section in it with a drop of ammonia to clean the gunk out and you should have a nice writer. For more info on Wearever checkout Richard Binder's website.
