Edgar, I am so sorry. Your son sounds like an amazing guy - I'm a Dr. Demento fan too. Grateful for the hope of a Savior, that your son is today more alive than ever, but know that The Valley of the shadow of death is an extra deep valley and dark shadow as a parent. Paused to pray for you and your family just now.

Gone much too soon, Edgar. No parent should suffer outliving any of their children. Praise God, however, for the years he was with us and making a difference in this world.

I wish I had more to offer than condolences and prayers, but I do send both. I can't imagine how hard this must be for you. Peace and comfort to you and your family.

There are no words to console you. I lost a daughter. My hope that one day we are all reunited. I am very, very sorry.

These past few weeks have been the most difficult of our lives. My wife & I lost our son on Aug 25. He died peacefully in his sleep, apparently from a severe low thyroid reaction. It appears that he stopped taking his thyroid medication about a year ago. By the time we figured out that he was in distress & got him to a doctor, it was too late to reverse the damage.

We don't know why he stopped taking his medication - we can only speculate. If any of your loved ones are on critical medication, please be sure they don't stop.

Here's a link to Ryan's obituary.

Edgar

So, so sorry for your loss, Edgar. Please accept my deepest condolences.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I wish there was something that I could say to help the hurt go away faster.

There are no words for this tragedy. I can't imagine what you are going through. I am very sorry for your family's loss.

There simply are no words. He seems like he was an amazing person, as anyone who can quote Tai Kwan Leap has to be.

Edgar and Janis

my deepest sympathies to you both and your family.

Focus on the good times and joy you shared together.

I'm sorry, Edgar. Ryan was only a couple of years older than I am. Given how much he loved his dog it's really nice of you to accept donations for the ASPCA too; surely that's what such a kind soul would want. My most heartfelt prayers to you and your family.
