...the above phrase to be sung in a sing-song tone... [

Anyway, we splurged and bought the Drill Doctor 750X! [8D]
We ordered it from Amazon.com for $110 and I think we qualify for the Drill Doctor $15 rebate which makes the end cost only $95!!
It arrived here the middle of the week. I had hoped to try it out today, but so far it has been too cold to be outside for any length of time. I've watched the included DVD and read the user's manual twice. I'm looking forward to testing it and then using it. We decided to buy it because our 7mm drill bit has become very dull (that Brazilian Cherry is really rough on the drill bits! [B)] ) and it seems pointless to buy another bit when all you need to do is sharpen the first one.
One question however, for those of you who already own a Drill Doctor.
How do you go about sharpening a brad-point drill bit (the one with the spike on the end)?
Do you sharpen it like a standard bit or otherwise? Can you sharpen the brad point without grinding it down?
Thanks,
