New member here... Recently started turning pens to relax... Not a complete noob, but pens are new for me. Have a huge Craftsman solid-state VS lathe with extended bed (over 7 ft. between centers), but she scales down real nice for turning pens, so I've hit the ground running. Mostly doing slimlines at the moment, from a variety of woods, both domestic and exotic. Gonna lurk about and learn all I can from all you pros. Please excuse in advance any of my dumb questions, as that's the only kind I got right now... ;)
