:bananen_smilies051::bananen_smilies051: WARNING WARNING!!! :bananen_smilies039::bananen_smilies039:

If you do business with Ed and Dawn at Exotic Blanks expect nothing but the best customer service possible because that's exactly what your going to get.

Today I took a road trip to Racine. I'm working on an order and had a few problems. Ed went above and beyond in helping make things right even though it wasn't due to any problem caused by them. It doesn't get any better. :good:

But one thing I don't understand, why is he selling the IAP hats for $5.00 more then then the other IAP dealers

They aren't.... If you look in the classifieds all 3 dealers have ads. Ed listed that they goofed entering the price and corrected it the first day. The hats are $15 at each place.

i always have that same problem with exotics. ships on time, almost always the right stuff and comes with a freebee. however, i have not been able to find a suitable replacement for them. will keep looking however.

by the way, got my hat at MAPG in the drawings.

Just received a box from Exotic Blanks yesterday with some blanks I ordered from Jeff's Masterscroller offerings - beautiful stuff that I can't wait to play with! I've ordered a handful of times through Ed and every box I get back is packed with quality goodness. The freebie is always fun and I have yet to get an invoice from him that doesn't have a personal note on it. The extra effort and care are definitely noticed and appreciated. =)

This might come as a surprise to any of you who think Ed and I are just "hard-nosed" competitors but I also think Ed and Dawn do a pretty good job...except for shipping kringles (unless I told them not to send them this year) to auction winners.:biggrin::biggrin: They're not real big on the prompt submission of bills when you buy on a purchase order - I've had them go as long as 3 months without billing me.:smile::smile:Of course, from my standpoint that is a positive. BTW that did occur when I was ill and they did do it intentionally....

These people are the salt of the earth.
The only problem I have, is that I finally found someone that talks almost as much as I do. Ed has answered every question I have ever had, except when it comes to bowl turning.
Dawn sounds like she is the 'exotic' part of Exotic Blanks..........Thankfully, it isn't Ed.

Sometime next winter......I am taking a road trip just to visit them. (I will bring a blank check. Just cause I know I won't get away otherwise.)

I placed an order and asked a questions about the blanks in the comments box. Last night the phone rings and guess who? Ed's calling me to offer suggestions for my order. Great talking to him, sure never expected it. Only other vendor to ever call me was Bill from Arizona Silhouettes and he was another great guy. Can't beat the service or the products they sell.

If you go to visit Dawn and Ed to better bring not only a blank check but a truck.

A really big truck :biggrin:

I hate looking at there online catalogue but keep going there anyway. Like a kid in a candy store with only a nickel to spend I want it all. Both Ed and Dawn are fantastic people (have not met them in person just in dealing with them but you know). Ed has called me and I have called him and he was always willing to spend the time to help me.
May God bless their business.

I agree! They are great! Got a box from them last night with a bunch of Alternate Ivory for a collaboration I am working on (I'll post some photos after they premier at the Miami Pen Show this weekend!).
