Well I just got my new laser in today! I cannot wait to get this thing setup and ready to go! I have been saving for a few years to get a nice laser!

This is a large create

Very nice. I got the LS-1624 a couple of months ago. Nice machine. There are a few quirks with it but overall, I am impressed with it. Very powerful. Send me a PM if you ever have any questions with it.

Status update... It is to big to get in the house. Talking with the people at Boss Laser, I got assurance that it would fit in a standard house door. It fits in the 36" front door, but that is it. The unit is 34" on the short side, and every other door in my house is 32".

Guess it will have to go in the garage... Now I have to clean up in there to make room for it. Rearranging the garage was not on my planned agenda.

This thing is almost the same footprint as my table saw.

It will probably take me a few weeks just to get it all setup.

Still happy as a lark to have the toys in the shop.

Interesting. I think that is a feature they promote. Being able to fit in a regular doorway.

This is a Chinese laser right? I just assumed it was since the price looks so good.

I really want to buy one but I can only afford the Chinese lasers because brands like the Epilogue are so expensive.

So I am really interested to see how this works for you. I have been looking at this brand and Full Spectrum Laser as well as a brand in Ohio.

If you want it in house, you can pop out the door jamb and you should have your 34"- 35" clearance. Move in the laser, put the door jamb back in...Done!

Already looking at that. Since the basement is unfinished.. I can see around the door jam. If I take out the door and the framing around it (not load bearing) It will give me 37". May have to do it. LOL. SWMBO will not be happy, but if it has to be done....

How do you like the laser now that it's been a while?

I'm contemplating the same model...have any pics of what you've done with it? Anything you don't like?
