I would like one serious turner to test and make a no BS full product review in the product review section on a new model Woodchuck carbide scraper, I will supply the tool base, Shield and a few of each insert both Square and Radius and ship it to the US. Please PM me and I will select the victim. they will have to make their own handle, but they keep the tool, New one will be out in less than two weeks.

The guinea pigs for this tool have already been selected, However there will be another new tool out by may, so I will file this list for the next tool.

I have some pieces of soapstone that I'd be happy to try it on for part of a review, along with some spindle and faceplate turning on hard and soft woods for a more complete review.

If I were not in Japan and also covered in travels the next week and again in a month, I would offer. I am in the process of making a dozen pens that require such a smooth finish from the chisel - that no sanding is needed. That would certainly be a good test as to its ability to cut cleanly.

Like George, I'm also not a serious turner. It's way to much fun  I'd be interested, but I've already done a review on your tools, so if you want to send it to someone else to get a different opinion that's fine.

Put my name in the hat, too.
I'd like to see how it works on resins ,TruStone especially. I've been working
on a synthetic with stone that has me worried about the hardness and getting a
good finish.

Ken,
I don't mind reviewing the tool for you. I would like to see how it works on plastics and aluminum. Let me know. I am seriously considering getting it anyway, just waiting on some IRS $$$.

I'm closing this thread, I have already selected some guys to do the evaluations, There will be a new tool out by the end of the month I'll keep you guys in mind,
